I started taking weekly hikes again after I moved back to my hometown.
It’s difficult to go hiking in nature when you are stuck in a busy metropolitan neighborhood about more than one hours drive from the closest state park or state wildlife refuge.
Now that the woods are a 10 hour drive from my apartment, I can make an excuse to go once or twice a month to appreciate the beautiful outdoor environment. It’s so nice here because the people I was with and I have minimal environmental concerns here with a lack of dangerous rattlesnakes, something I could never hope for in my other home. That state had so numerous dangerous rattlesnakes plus poisonous spiders that I was afraid to go hiking off an immense trail system that is traversed often. Now that I’m back in my hometown, I appreciate bush hiking with a machete in my hand to clear branches plus cut down weeds in my path. While I’m out in the woods, I appreciate imbibing on cannabis flower products. I have seen a lot of portable vaporizers, but none yet that don’t have some kind of plastic parts inside of them.
