I’ve been working at the dock since I was 17 years old.
My dad was a dock worker and he got me a job as soon as I was old enough to drive.
For the past 5 years, I have worked entirely hard so I could captain a boat of my own one day. I hate working on the dock all day, but it’s the only way that I can show off my skills. Unluckily for me, my dream of captaining a boat has not come as abruptly as I hoped and now my body is starting to ache and hurt every single day. I’m only 30 years old, but my knees feel like they are 50 years old. I have trouble getting up and down, especially when I am in a seated position, so lately I have been using marijuana in the day to help with pain relief. I was taking a couple of Tylenol or an ibuprofen, but that hasn’t touched the pain in months. When I went to the nurse and I told him that I was having problems with the pain in my knees, he immediately suggested trying medical marijuana. Medical marijuana and recreational marijuana have been legal in this state for a decade or more. It’s legitimately straight-forward to obtain medical and recreational marijuana. I usually stay away from the stuff because I get high when I smoke. I can’t function or captain a boat when I’m under the influence. Sadly it doesn’t seem like I’m going to be in that position for a while so I might as well get the relief that comes from using medical marijuana products.
