I wanted a CBD based product

The intention of all of these products was strictly to aid in minor aches and pains, not to get high

I went to a marijuana dispensary last week with the express intention of purchasing CBD. When I started talking to the budtender on duty, she told me about all the specials… I tried to tell her ‌I was looking for just CBD and nothing with marijuana in it, and she told me they had CBD products. Even still, the CBD products that she was bringing out to show me all had at least some level of THC in them. Once again, I told her ‌I had no interest in getting high. I just wanted CBD to help with some of my minor aches and pains. She told me that she had brought out the products that were best, but she didn’t think I could get anything that didn’t have some level of THC in it. After that, the manager came over and asked if she could help. I explained to her what I wanted the CBD for and what I would need! She pulled out multiple products. One was a lotion, 1 was a style of salve, and the other was a tincture. She said they were all mostly CBD, but they had nothing in a marijuana dispensary that was pure CBD. I asked where I could purchase pure CBD, and she told me I could look online, but they did not make those products out of the same style of marijuana. She assured me that if I were to purchase 1 of the CBD lotions, salves, or tinctures, that I would not get high. The intention of all of these products was strictly to aid in minor aches and pains, not to get high. I purchased the CBD lotion, and rubbing the lotion into my knees and hands would negate the effects that any THC in the product could have.
