Some people are incapable of getting the same effects from cannabis edibles

For whatever reason, I seem to have diverging preferences from everyone I know, be it friends, relatives, or coworkers.

I have been told by several people at work that I have a bad taste in food, but I think it’s just because they all hate it when I bring fish products and put them in the microwave in the breakroom.

My boss told me at one point that I was limited to eating fish once a week, which although frustrates me, I can completely understand why this is a necessary compromise. Regardless of how I might feel personally, I can’t put my own preferences above those of everyone else at work. If we all operated with that mindset, we’d be imposing our beliefs and interests on people everywhere we go. My friends who are also medical marijuana patients keep telling me that I need to quit vaporizing cannabis and simply eat edibles like RSO and cannabis candies. They don’t understand that a small number of people have a liver that is virtually incapable of processing THC the same way it would in a normal person’s liver. I happen to be one of those people, so taking ridiculous doses of THC orally does not yield the intended effects. If I really want to feel blasted on cannabis, I need to take several dabs of cannabis concentrates one after another. This would likely lay me out completely and make it next to impossible for me to function properly. If the dabs are indica strains then it will be even worse. I won’t get any work done if I consume too much THC.
