Thinking about getting into the marijuana business

When it comes to my money, I like to keep a sharp eye on just what it’s doing.

I’m not a financial adviser or hold any sort of finance degree.

But I do invest in a fairly broad way with the help and guidance of a seasoned investor. He and I are both thinking that it might be a very good time to get into the marijuana business. I’m definitely passionate about cannabis and like to invest in things I believe in. So many folks invest simply to make money and I get that for sure. But I really like to invest my money in stuff that makes a difference to me or something that I’m actually interested in. And the marijuana business checks both those boxes. I’m not talking about being a cannabis grower or anything like that. No, I’m good with the job I have because that too is a passion. My money guy has been on the fence a bit about the marijuana business. He thinks that the golden moment to get in has passed. I’m thinking we have yet to see the full impact of marijuana for sale legally. While there are more states with some form of legal marijuana than states that still outlaw all cannabis, there is still a lot of room for big growth. In my way of thinking, the east coast is about to be the tipping point for the explosion of the marijuana business. I think we are right on the cusp of legal recreational marijuana on the eastern seaboard. And that could be the game changer. I’m putting a big chunk of my investment money into the future of cannabis products.
