I smoked pot with my pals a single time in band camp. I was supposed to be playing the trombone, however me and the bass guitar player were out back puffing on a marijuana joint. I totally remember getting high and having fun, although I never smoked again. I have not smoked any other marijuana products since I was an adult! My husband had never used recreational marijuana at all. It was his actual idea for the two of us to go to a dispensary close to our hotel. We honestly didn’t want to spend a lot of money on an Uber or a taxi, however there was a dispensary near us. We set out on the 1.2 mile walk. It was a rather warm and windy day. It was comfortable and the sun was shining brilliantly! When we got to the recreational marijuana shop, we had to supply them with our identification cards. I was distraught that we might need to be a resident of the state, however there were many other people with out of state driver’s licenses too… A budtender motioned for my husband and I to come over to him and he asked us what we were looking for. Honestly, neither of us particularly knew what we wanted to go for. We told the budtender that it was our first time and he explained some of the odd products to us. The marijuana shop had many odd types of products like edibles, smokable flower, vaporizer pens, and even Dunkin Donuts Latte that was infused with cannabis distillate.
