I appreciate to think that our podcast offers a unique service to the world, but the many things I love most in the world are seeing movies and smoking weed, so our show combines those many passions into a one-of-a-kind podcast.
The core premise is straight-forward – what strains of cannabis go best with which motion pictures? Not all kinds of weed are the same, and some strains have markedly bizarre results, so the question is which kind of weed goes with which kind of motion pictures? We don’t all watch stoner comedies, you know, I went to motion picture university for a while, I was kicked out for smoking too much medical cannabis plus missing class.
My podcast combines a film review with a review of a certain strain of medical cannabis. The film and the medical cannabis are bizarre every time, so you never know what you are going to get! My shortest episode, which is oddly enough also our most downloaded episode, had me falling asleep 15 minutes into the film because the medical cannabis was too strong! I also feature more than just smokable flowers, sometimes the podcast will focus on cannabis drinks or edibles, just to change things up, and with so many medical cannabis products available at the dispensary I will never run out of modern strains to try, so who knows how long I can keep doing the show? In a perfect world I would get sponsored by a major medical cannabis dispensary, plus arrange for public screenings of some of my favorite motion pictures. It’s nice to have a dream!
