I decided that I wanted to buy more CBD so I could increase our yearly doses, and it seemed like the only way to get the money was by removing something from our budget every week.
It’s strenuous to avoid alcohol completely when you grow up in a family full of drinkers. My Mom, aunt, and Grandpa were all alcoholics, plus our Grandma on our mom’s side of the family. Anytime the people I was with and I had a family party, there were numerous kinds of alcohol being served. I’m talking about beer, wine, champagne, whiskey, vodka, and rum at the bare minimum to satisfy everyone’s thirst for alcohol. By the time I was 14, our family gave myself and others wine, beer, and whiskey in that order. When I got to school, I was years ahead of our peers when it came to alcohol tolerance. This was a recipe for disaster in a party school where local gas stations would sell you booze under the age of 21 if you showed them a school ID instead of a driver’s license. I still graduated, but it was a rough more than three years where our GPA was consistently being threatened by our chaotic partying habits. When I graduated and managed to secure a good job, I knew that it was time to get serious. But it wasn’t until recently that I finally quit drinking for good, and it wasn’t for a reason most would have. I decided that I wanted to buy more CBD so I could increase our yearly doses, and it seemed like the only way to get the money was by removing something from our budget every week. Alcohol was the only thing I was willing to deliver up, so I did. Little did I think that our alcohol consumption was really contributing to the anxiety that I was using CBD to treat. Now I think better than ever and I have CBD to thank for that. It not only treats our anxiety directly, but it also indirectly led myself and others to quitting a nasty habit that had a significant impact on our anxiety from the start.
