• That was so odd for me.

This was the first time that’s ever been the case in my life. Even when I went off to university, I knew people from my dwelling village who went there as well, however plus, I even knew my roommate so I had that comfort level during the first transfer of my life. As well as offering a level of comfort, that roommate also introduced me to recreational marijuana. That was something that legitimately helped me deal with the stress and pressure of getting my degree. I went to toil at my first job again in a place that was correct with because it was the town adjacent to where I went to university. So again, I knew people and was able to weave myself into the fabric of a current toil and social life. But taking this current position and moving across the country put me in a position I had never experienced before. I knew legitimately no one and had no clue about the area. Fortunately, I have an dwelling downtown in this small town do navigating to toil wasn’t a problem. Finding like minded people has also been much easier than I expected. I ended up moving to a place where recreational marijuana is legal. And the local cannabis spot is a ten minute walk from my apartment. That’s where I have found such a great atmosphere and vibe. It’s also where I’m meeting people and forming current friendships. But I’m also truly grateful for the great sativa and indica products that I can shop for and enjoy oh so legally.

It stinks that you can’t rely on marijuana products when pregnant. They need to do some research because cannabis can basically repair everything, then when you are pregnant there are a lot of downside symptoms that come from it. There is basically no way to relieve them either. I had trouble sleeping at night due to leg cramps. Did you know that cannabis can be used as a sleep aid to calm the mind and also reduce inflammation in cramped muscles? Cannabis also is wonderful for acid reflux. When I developed pregnancy acid reflux I was irritated. It was worse than vomiting and the cramps. The acid kept me awake and was painful. Another pregnancy symptom is feeling nauseous. The heat and the lack of sleep made a really bad combination in my stomach. It would have been really nice to have something to make it all better, and not all cannabis products have THC in them. I don’t even need to take in the hallocenginen part of the plant. Also, you don’t need to smoke or eat cannabis either. There are topicals that are creams applied directly to the skin. It doesn’t get you high or get into the bloodstream. A topical can reduce leg cramps though. So why can I not have that? Bare minimum a topical should be allowed. At this point it is still a banned product for pregnant ladies. I am left to pop tums, use a heating pad and just be irritated. I know there has to be safe, marijuana infused products out there.

I am way moodier than I used to be.

I know it is stress, lack of sleep and added duties onto my plate, the anxiety I get when going to bed is just horrible. I know it is because my baby is a bad sleeper… He sporadically wakes up crying and I know I will have 1.5 hours of intense screaming before he goes back down, then sporadically he just flat out refuses to sleep. I get really concerned that my days are going to be bad; Due to my anxiety, I then don’t sleep and get even more anxious. It makes me not a wonderful partner, employee or person at the end of the afternoon. I have been looking into dosing with medical weed for the time being. I figure it can’t hurt… A little bit of THC and CBD should mellow me out. I am hoping if I am a bit high I can calm down and sleep. If I need to wake up and be up for 1.5 hours with a screaming baby, I want to be high for it. I know being calmer will be better for my child too. I know he feeds off my anxious, unhappy energy when he is screaming. It will also just be nicer being high sporadically to be honest. Thankfully I do live near a cannabis dispensary and they can hook me up with the right product.

I had a long work week last week! I put in over sixty hours plus all I wanted to do was put an order into the recreational marijuana dispensary plus go home.

I was going to have marijuana delivery so I could get some rest before my friends showed up.

I walked in the door, plus my partner was already home. I kissed his cheek plus told him I was going to take a nap. I asked him to wake me when the marijuana delivery arrived; He smiled plus went back to making dinner. I was so exhausted that I instantly fell asleep. I woke up to the sound of my friends in the bedroom. I rushed into the shower plus got dressed, and my partner was laughing at one of the guys, plus I went over to him. I wanted to know why he didn’t wake me when the marijuana delivery arrived? He told me he had tried, although I mumbled plus rolled away from him. He knew how exhausted I was plus didn’t want to petrify me since I was sleeping so well. After being told the marijuana delivery services dropped off the marijuana products about a half hour earlier, I just looked at him. I had only been sleeping for a little over an hour, although I felt like I had been sleeping for a week. I felt so refreshed that I thought I could party all night! Things tend to take a while to get to our end of town.

I don’t know if that’s so much a socioeconomic thing or just the way it turns out. Either way, I’m so cheerful that we have been able to welcome a new marijuana corporation to our corporation community. Our end of neighborhood is in the midst of some revitalization and I for one have been all in. I grew up in this part of the neighborhood and came back to invest in these people and our community. I have a small corporation that caters to all walks of life and I feel really connected to both the people and the corporation community here. It’s different from some of the other locales in our town and I’m cheerful about that. We are a diverse bunch with the same needs and wants as somewhere else in our city. But I guess it’s this feeling of community that runs the deepest for all of us. So when the local cannabis spot opened its doors, I was one of the first in line. While I’m not big on recreational marijuana, I cherish some sativa strains from time to time. No, the reason I was in line that afternoon with all those who have an absolute passion for cannabis was to welcome them. As a member of the local corporation community, I wanted to be sure that they knew they had our support. The owners of this marijuana corporation were so gracious and pleased that I gave them this outreach and support. It’s great adding a local cannabis spot to this community. And I have to say it’s great to not have to drive across the neighborhood for a few cannabis edibles anymore.

I’m getting more and more frustrated living in these times.

• For me, the division in our country is just so hard to take.

I’m in my mid 40’s so I don’t have a huge perspective as if I was in my 75’s. But even then, I’m not sure I would be comfortable with what’s going on in our culture. Thankfully, I can find places like the cannabis dispensary where the vibration is one of compassion and healing. I really do cling to environments like this. My yoga class, the community garden and just sitting quietly in nature help soothe a battered soul. I just carry so much sadness that we are so divided at this point. And it seems like such an unfortunate time for that to be happening. When it comes to overpopulation, climate change and all this violence, we should be coming together more. That’s not the case though, not by a wide margin. So I do my best to look for the positives. For sure, having recreational marijuana legalized had been a great, large positive. And not just for me. There are so many people out there who are suffering from maladies that indica, sativa and hybrid strains can alleviate. That can only be a great thing. For those like me, having recreational marijuana access can be close to medicinal as well. I’m not so sure about the line between medical marijuana and recreational marijuana. Seems like cutting hairs in some cases. But for me, a bit of sativa products every so often really does help me maintain the positivity and hope that I believe we all need right now.

I can remember the afternoons when my buddies would be scraping resin from their pipe because they were out of recreational marijuana.

But when I was out, I was out. Sure, it was a bummer but I wasn’t about to smoke a tar ball of resin either. Now, I’d for sure treat every gram of cannabis as though it were gold. However, I drew the line at smoking resin. Back in those afternoons, I also drew the line at making pot brownies. This, to me, was a complete waste of great marijuana, however on top of that, I had never tasted a pot brownie that I thought was good. Nor had I really gotten all that high from those pot brownies. Of course, that had everything to do with the fact that those pot brownies were made completely wrong. I’m pleased to say that while I would still draw the line at smoking resin, I’ve done a 180 when it comes to marijuana edibles. Shoot, I make some of the best cannabis edibles that I’ve tasted. That’s not so much bragging as it is just a lucky truth. For some reason, once I learned how to cook properly with cannabis, I fell in love with it. My wifey taught me everything I need to know about baking. And then I turned to cannabis recipe books and videos when it came to infusing cannabis into those baked goods. The results have been even better than I could have imagined. And a great afternoon for me on the weekend is to get baking me some new sort of cannabis edible.
