I asked her to leave, and that was the last time I saw her because she hasn’t come back to the cannabis dispensary since
No one likes to feel used, especially when it;s someone you are attracted to. I learned a hard lesson about life recently, but perhaps it was long overdue. It was the first time I have ever had my heart broken, so it had to happen eventually, right? Her name is April, and she was a frequent customer at the cannabis dispensary. I work there full time, so five nights a week I run the cash register and help people find what they need. I had my eye on April for a while, but knew that she was out of my league. Eventually she came into the cannabis dispensary often enough that we got to know each other, and I asked her out. She agreed to “hang out” sometime, but insisted that it wasn’t a date – this should have been a red flag, but I ignored it. When we hung out she mostly wanted to smoke as much of my cannabis as possible. I have a vast array of cannabis jars in my kitchen, and she did her best to sample all of them. It was pretty fun for a while, but then I made my move and she shot me down. I had to accept the fact she was just interested in my cannabis, and was using me to get stoned for free. I asked her to leave, and that was the last time I saw her because she hasn’t come back to the cannabis dispensary since. She probably is trying the same trick on another budtender in one of the other cannabis dispensaries.
