I couldn’t justify all that money.’

I went to a doctor last month, who specialized in pain management.

About fifteen years ago, I was hit with a forklift.

I had a lot of damage done to my hip and spine that never healed. The muscles were depressed and nerves were damaged. Within the next five years, I was totally disabled and having difficulties walking. Fast forward to the present year, and I have difficulties even getting out of bed in the morning. A doctor at the hospital told me that he could see nothing but surgery in the very near future, but I didn’t want surgery. He told me about a new doctor who specializes in pain management, but he wasn’t a part of the hospital group. I made an appointment to go see the doctor. He looked at my xrays, and the MRI scans. He then talked to me about what I wanted to get out of my visit with him. I told him I wanted to be able to walk again without feeling excruciating pain. He told me about the multiple treatments he offered, and he also suggested CBD products, and/or recreational cannabis. When the pain was eased, he said my body would work to help heal itself. I wasn’t so sure about recreational cannabis. I knew that it could be very expensive, and I couldn’t justify all that money. He asked me how much money I put out for drugs and doctors every year. When I looked at it that way, recreational cannabis and CBD products didn’t look so expensive to me.
