It was fun making cannabis edibles

It blended it directly right in with all the other herbs and spices, and the marinara was so tasty I didn’t even notice the cannabis

I’ve been getting more and more into edibles in recent times. I suppose it’s just boredom that I had been dealing with, because since COVID started my smoking has increased significantly. With so much time trapped inside, and also a low-grade fear of heading back out into civilization, there has been a lot more time than ever before to rest in the dwelling and get high. I will lay around and get high for many days straight simply binge-seeing TV shows I don’t even enjoy just to pass the time. So it was the boredom that actually pushed me into the kitchen area and got me experimenting with making edibles. I had enough cannabis so that even if I messed up these first attempts, I still had a reasonable amount to smoke. It was a fairly interesting experiment, but the pot brownies were not especially good. I wasn’t even sure if the complication was the brownie, or the cannabis, so I tried something severely different. I was in the mood for pasta, so I mixed some finely ground cannabis into the marinara sauce. It blended it directly right in with all the other herbs and spices, and the marinara was so tasty I didn’t even notice the cannabis. Approximately an hour later I came to realize I was still sitting on the couch, empty bowl in my lap, watching the TV mindlessly. The pot brownies had been a pretty serious bust, but the cannabis infused pasta sauce was the bomb. I made sure to pack up the rest of the sauce, because I still had approximately half a batch left and this was the most wonderful cannabis edible that I had ever tasted!
