Trying cannabis in different ways is fun

I’ve been getting more and more into edibles recently, however I suppose it’s just boredom, because since COVID started my smoking has gone through the roof.

With so much time trapped inside, and also a certain fear of going back out into society, there is a lot more time than ever before to rest around and get high.

I will lay around and get high for many days on end, binge-enjoying TV shows I don’t even adore just to pass the time. So it was the boredom that pushed me into the kitchen space and got me experimenting with making edibles. I had enough cannabis so that even if I messed up these initial attempts, I still had a good amount to smoke. It was a fairly interesting experiment, however the pot brownies were not very good. I wasn’t sure if the problem was the brownie, or the cannabis, so I tried something super different. I was hungry for pasta, so I mixed some finely ground cannabis into the marinara sauce. It blended straight in with all the other herbs and spices, and the marinara was so excellent that I didn’t even notice the cannabis in it. Roughly an hour later I realized I was still relaxing on the couch, empty bowl in my lap, staring at the TV like a drone. The pot brownies had been a total bust, however the cannabis infused pasta sauce was a pretty major success. I made sure to pack up the rest of the sauce, because I still had practically half a batch left and this was the most delicious cannabis edible that I had ever tasted in all my years!
