I haven’t been to a Pizza Shack in 10 years, but I have absolutely fond memories of those places, however you remember being able to get an old-school personal pan pizza which they brought out in a little teeny tiny deep dish pan? The garlic breadsticks & the jukebox, it was all so much fun when I was a kid.
Do you remember the look of those seasoned Pizza Shack buildings, with the big wide yellow roof, & each place looked the same, no matter where you were.
I have been suffering major deja vu lately, because they just opened up a sleek modern cannabis dispensary inside a seasoned Pizza Shack building. All they did was change the yellow paint to red, so even though it’s an amazing cannabis dispensary, it still looks outwardly love a Pizza Shack. When they first opened they had an amazing promotion, & almost everyone who purchased enough marijuana products that weekend got a coupon for a free cheese pizza from another local place. It was genius, because the cannabis dispensary evoked thoughts of pizza, & you better think that after I got stoned I wanted a pizza! They only had that promotion one time, but to this day every time I go to buy more cannabis I begin to crave pizza. I mentioned to one of the budtenders that they should begin selling pizza by the slice at the dispensary. She said they wanted to do that, but that strict cannabis dispensary laws forbade them from serving boiling food on the premises. At least I’m not the only person that gets that pizza craving every time.
