I have regularly been an introvert. I care about people in theory but in practice they tend to be frustrating after a long enough period of time. I still try to keep our socialization to a minimum, although I have found a current spot where I truly can have some fun. I never sampled any kind of nightlife before because I don’t care about crowds, or dancing, or loud music. That pretty much rules out every single bar and club in the world! One of the local cannabis dispensaries opened up a smokers lounge a few months ago, and I have found that it caters to our sensibilities. It adjoins the cannabis dispensary, and is a small, dimly lit room that regularly has music playing, and offers several unusual fun distractions. There are tables, chairs, and a bar along a single wall, so people can hang out and smoke the cannabis they bought next door. The vibe is unquestionably chill, which is what I care about most, and I can smoke cannabis, eat edibles, and study comics or play video games! Every Wednesday night they have an open mic night, where cannabis purchasers can sing, do karaoke, or tell jokes, however wednesday night are for Cannabis Movie Night, where they usually show an old Cheech and Chong movie, or some other lowbrow comedy with lots of pot smoking in it. Whatever the entertainment is, the volume is regularly at a moderate level, so it doesn’t irritate those cannabis smokers who aren;t interested. If there were just fewer old men and more pretty ladies, it would be perfect!
