Ever since my friends and I were in a car accident, I’ve had a difficult time getting behind the wheel of my own car. I wasn’t driving at the time of the accident, but I still have flashbacks every single day. The car came out of nowhere and hit us at 50 mph. The car rolled over two times, but thankfully we ended up on the tires. I work as a marijuana delivery driver, but I haven’t been successful lately. It takes twice as long for me to make deliveries, because I don’t want to travel too fast. It was raining on Friday night and I had 8 marijuana deliveries. I told my boss that I was unable to complete the deliveries. The guy told me to go home. The next day I went to work early and I talked to my boss about the car accident. I didn’t want to lose my job at that marijuana dispensary, but I needed some time away from driving. The manager understood my reasons and didn’t ask a lot of questions. He recommended a therapist that might be able to help me get over the accident. The next day I was on the schedule inside of the dispensary. The store manager said he would put me on the schedule to work inside of the dispensary instead of as a delivery person as long as I need, but he also urged me to get some help. I really don’t think I can lay down on a couch and tell a shrink about my problems.
