My friends and I were out one night and both of us made some undoubtedly stupid decisions.
The two of us went to the train yard and decided to vandalize some of the cars in the lot.
The two of us didn’t realize there were security cameras all over the lot. A security officer surprised us with 2 attack dogs. They decided to press charges to make an example out of our friends and I. I was cocky and I didn’t know I was going to get into trouble, so I was surprised when the judge gave me many weeks in the county jail. I really expected time served, so I was severely disappointed when I heard the news. The many weeks I spent in jail were agonizing and horrific. The biggest reason was due to the fact that I could no longer use marijuana, but even though I had a medical marijuana card on the outside, I was unable to access medical marijuana while I was in jail. I know it is detrimental to a person’s health to stop medications quickly, however the jail doctor didn’t agree. The many weeks I spent in jail was the longest time that I went without marijuana since it was legalized. It was severely difficult and I didn’t know I was going to make it. At one point, someone offered me marijuana however I knew I would end up getting caught and I really didn’t want to tack on another many weeks to our sentence for doing something incredibly stupid again. I waited out the many weeks. When our friends came to option me up 171 afternoons later, both of us smoked a big fat blunt.
