My podcast combines a movie review with a review of a certain strain of medical cannabis
I like to think that my podcast offers a unique service to the world. The two things I love most in the world are watching movies and smoking weed, so my show combines those two passions into a one-of-a-kind podcast. The core premise is simple – what strains of cannabis go best with which movies? Not all kinds of weed are the same, and some strains have markedly different results, so the question is which kind of weed goes with which kind of movies? We don’t all watch stoner comedies, you know, I went to film school for a while, although I was kicked out for smoking too much medical cannabis and missing class. My podcast combines a movie review with a review of a certain strain of medical cannabis. The movie and the medical cannabis are different every time, so you never know what you are going to get! My shortest episode, which is oddly enough also my most downloaded episode, had me falling asleep 15 minutes into the movie because the medical cannabis was too strong! I also feature more than just smokable flowers, sometimes the podcast will focus on cannabis drinks or edibles, just to change things up. With so many medical cannabis products available at the dispensary I will never run out of new strains to try, so who knows how long I can keep doing the show? In a perfect world I would get sponsored by a major medical cannabis dispensary, and arrange for public screenings of some of my favorite movies. It’s good to have a dream!
